NITOP Exhibitor Information

January 3–6, 2025; Sheraton Sand Key Resort, Clearwater Beach, Florida

NITOP welcomes exhibitors who are interested in offering information about new books for classroom use and/or demonstrations of educational software, etc. to teachers of psychology in high school through graduate school. The conference is attended by psychology teachers from throughout the country who wish to explore new ideas that will enhance and broaden their teaching skills.  Details of exhibitor options are explained below.

EXHIBITORS

All levels of exhibitors include the following:

Registration for two representatives, table with two chairs, Wifi internet access, and meals with attendees.

Sponsors may attend their sponsored sessions.

If space allows, attendance at other sessions will be open to exhibitors.

      Exhibitor Registration

      *SPONSORSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES

      • Sponsoring a speaker involves paying the speaker’s travel and hotel expenses (two night minimum requested) as well as paying a portion of the AV costs.  The AV cost was $500 at the most recent conference.
      • NITOP will waive the fee for an exhibitor table for those who sponsor a speaker. An exhibitor table includes conference registration for two representatives from the sponsoring group.
      • NITOP will provide free registration for sponsored speakers.
      • The sponsor and speaker should coordinate travel and hotel reservations for those attending.  The hotel rate for 2025 is $195 plus tax. 

      Cancellation for Exhibitors: If an exhibitor cancels their registration before December 1st, a cancellation fee of $50 will be applied. If the cancellation is after December 1st, there will be no refund provided.


      Dedicated Exhibit Hours

      The hours listed below are when exhibitors are asked to be at their tables to visit with attendees.  Being at exhibit tables at other times during conference hours is optional for exhibitors.  Note that attendees will have lunch in the same space as the exhibits. It is up to exhibitors to decide if they will be available during lunch. A tentative schedule for 2025 is beow.

      January 3rd:  10:15-10:45 am; 1:45-3:30 p.m.

      January 4th:  10:15-11:00 a.m.; Optional Exhibitor Demos 1:00 p.m. (see below for details)

      January 5th:  3:15- 4:00 p.m.

      Setup may begin as early as 7:30 a.m. on January 3rd and should be finished by 10:15 a.m.

      Tear down begins at 5:30 pm on January 5th.

      Please visit the registration desk to obtain exhibitor badges before beginning setup. 

      Private demonstrations are available for an additional charge of $300.  For 2025, the sessions will be in dedicated rooms starting at 1:00 pm . More information will be posted later.

      PACKAGE HANDLING

      The Sheraton Sand Key Resort can assist in the receiving, securing and delivery of group materials and products. Packages will be accepted three (3) working days prior to event date and are subject to the following package handling fees:

      0-5 lbs. - $5.00 per package received

      6 -20 lbs. - $10.00 per package received

      21-50 lbs. - $15.00 per package received

      Over 50 lbs. - $25.00 per package received

      Pallets - $100 per pallet received

      C.O.D. shipments will not be accepted under any circumstances. Packages received prior to three (3) days may be subject to a storage fee.

      The Sheraton Sand Key Resort can also assist in outbound shipping for a $5.00 per package handling fee, plus shipping charges. Outbound shipping charges will be waived when using group’s own personal account.
